Anyway, enough of my ramblings, lets talk about their graduation ceremony, which btw....also made me cry.
We opened up the graduation ceremony by having all of the students sing two songs: ABC Alphardy & Kindergarten Here We Come. Afterwards, we played a slide show of all of the students' pictures collected throughout the year. Then, the students sang two Spanish songs with our Spanish Teacher, followed by the diploma ceremony. Finally, the students sang their last song for everyone, One Small Voice, and of course...this made everyone cry...again. The first time was when the song, Let Them Be Little, by Billy Dean, played during the slide show.
At the end of the graduation ceremony, we said bye to all our students, and cried just a little more. I seriously did not think I would cry, but obviously, my emotions got the best of me.
a little something for our parents

This time next year, I would be completing my first year teaching first grade in public school (BTW, I've been offered a first grade teaching position with CCPS, YAYYY!).
And with that said, I'm going to end this blog with a quote.
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." --- Dr. Seuss
